    Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul chaired the committee meeting for the 12th ASEAN Skills Competition at the Department of Skills Development’s Pakorn Angsusingh Conference Room.

  • Permanent Secretary of Labour M.L. Puntrik Smiti welcomed Mrs. Sujin Rungsawang, director of the national informal worker coordination center and committee, who thanked the ministry on improving social security benefits for informal workers under Section 40.

  • Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Boonlert Teerakul chaired the commencement of “10 May the National Workplace Safety Day for 2017” which took place at the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare (in Taling Chan).

  • Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Boonlert Teerakul represented the ministry in receiving notice from representatives of private hospitals in contract with the Social Security Office, led by association director Dr. Pongpat Patanvanich.

  • Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul and committee visited Thai students and agricultural trainees in Israel and observed the integration of technology in agriculture at the Arava Internation Center for Agricultural Trainimg (AICAT).

     
  • Permanent Secretary of Labour M.L. Puntrik Smiti chaired the committee meeting on the consideration for the ratification of ILO Convention No. 188 concerning work in the fishing sector, 2007. The meeting was held the first time this year at the Prasong Rananant Conference Room.
