  • Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul

    Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul will visit Chiang Mai province on 12-13 January 2017 to follow up progress within the 4 Northern provinces (Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son, Lampang and Lampoon). Chiang Mai is a center for investment, industry and transportation in the North, with potential to develop Logistics Park. In addition to this, it is an international hub with borders connected to Myanmar.

     Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul presented policies to leaders of foreign offices. He said, “Policies, relationships and foreign labour markets are issues I give great importance to. Each year, many Thai people go abroad for work and generate income to the nation totaling billions of Baht annually

  • 20-year strategic framework

    The Ministry of Labour has devised a 20-year strategic framework on human resource development (2017 -2036) with the aim to add value to the workforce towards sustainability and to drive the Thailand 4.0 policy. The framework will help the nation overcome the middle income gap, inequality and imbalance.

  • M.L. Puntrik Smiti

    Permanent Secretary of Labour M.L. Puntrik Smiti as the president of the Ladies Association joined Inspector-General Mr. Boonlert Teeratrakul for distribution of emergency kits too flood victims in the South, where they were welcomed by Nakhon Ratchasima Governor Mr. Danai Jiamwisetsook at the Baan Suan school. Emergency kits were distributed to 400 households in Nakhon Ratchasima province.
