  • Officers and officials at the Ministry of Labour asked for blessings from Permanent Secretary of Labour M.L. Puntrik Smiti, Deputy Permanent Secretaries Mr. Boonlert Teerakul, Mr. Singadet Chu-umnart and Mr. Anurak Tossarat, on the occasion of the Songkran Festival for 2017.

  • Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul chaired the traditional Thai ceremony of water pouring over the hands of elders, as a show of respect and blessing during for the Songkran Festival 2017. Permanent Secretary of Labour M.L. Puntrik Smiti, the ministry’s executives and officers also joined in the ceremony together.

  • Labour Minister General Sirichai Distakul joined the merit giving ceremony on the occasion of the Songkran Festival 2017. The Labour Minister poured water on the hands of Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha and wife, Assistant Professor Naraporn Chan-ocha in a show of respect and blessing for the Thai New Years.
