Deputy Permanent Secretary for Labour inspects human trafficking prevention and suppression efforts in Songkhla

 

 

M.L. Puntrik Smiti, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Labour, led members of the subcommittee on the prevention and suppression of human trafficking in in Thai fishery sector led by Mr. Lertpanya Buranabandit, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, to inspect human trafficking prevention and suppression efforts in Thailand’s southern Songkhla province. During the trip, M.L. Puntrik attended a meeting with the subcommittee members to exchange ideas on the prevention and suppression of human trafficking in fishery industry and visited the provincial coordination center for fishery workers. Mr. Kritda Boonraj, Governor of Songkhla, chaired the meeting at the BP Samila Beach Hotel’s Chai Mongkol Room.
