Mission
MOL’s Policy 2004
Following the royal command appointing Mrs. Uraiwan Tienthong to be the Minister of MOL on 8 November 2003; and according to the Public/National Administration Act (No. 5) 2002, Article 20 entrusting the Minister with power and duties to set Ministry’s policy, goal and results in line with the government policy; and Article 21 entrusting the Permanent Secretary with power and duties to translate policy into implementation and to provide operational oversight for all departments under MOL so as to ensure achievement of set goal and targets; the Minister of MOL, therefore, on 23 December 2003 had laid out specific policy and operational guidelines for the MOL’s Management as follows:
