"Gen. Adul" brought 1,000 survival kits to victims of flood in Nakhon Phanom and plan to help 3 stages.

           On August 5, 2018, H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor, visited and provided the consumer goods to help the flood victims 2 areas: Ban Nongkutcan School That Phanom District, Nakhon Phanom and Non Tan District Administration Organization, Tha Uthen District, Nakhon Phanom Province.There are public and private sectors to support the flood victims such as: government official, Ministry of Labor, Nakhonphanom province 300 sets, the Office of Social Development and Human Security in Nakhon Phanom 300 sets, the Red Cross of Nakhon Phanom 300 sets, Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited 100 sets, and 10,000 eggs to be given to flood victims in the 500 sets, a total of 1,000 sets.


             H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo added that the Ministry of Labor has set up plans to help the people in the event of a disaster, which has set out three relief plans: 1) Before the disaster has been prepared, provide workers with technical knowledge for the benefit of prevention and mitigation, education, training and training of workers in the workplace, work safety, survey, preparation, supply by demanding hire or rental of tools for disaster prevention and mitigation. 3) The rehabilitation phase provides a plan for vocational training and job placement for victims, such as employment activities. Urgent and skill development to alleviate professional difficulties, providing mobile units, repairing electrical appliances, vehicles, small motor home appliances, vocational training for primary occupations, repairing vocational training, employment services, and the promotion of careers. The Social Security Division also provides social security services to affected workers.
           According to the report of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation on August 3, 2018, the situation of heavy rain and overflowing water in the area of 8 districts, 56 Tambon, 398 villages of Nakhon Phanom, Muang Nakhon Phanom, That Phanom, Tha Uh, Phon Sawan, Renunakon, Plapak, Nakae and Ban Phang. The houses affected 9 houses, 2 temples, 30 roads, 5 weirs. The agricultural area was damaged 128,098 rai. At present, the water level has increased. Now the province has installed a pump to expel water from the area and fill the sand in the sack to distribute to the people affected, as well as let people follow the official notification closely.
