MOL Meets to Report Results from “Research Study Project on the Direction of Employment in Thailand in the Industry 4.0”

           On January 11, 2019, at 09.00 hours, Labour Advisor, Mr. Kittipong Laoniphon presided over the meeting to report research results and listen to comments on the "Research study project on the direction of employment in Thailand in the Industry 4.0 age". The event took place at the Sapphire Room, 2nd Floor, Century Hotel Bangkok.
           The objective of this project is to study and analyze industrial and employment systems of Thailand from the National Economic and Social Development Plan No. 1 to No. 11, the guidelines for development of an Industry 4.0 under the 20-year national strategic framework and the trend of employment and guidelines for labour skills development in accordance with the needs of the labour market. The 100 participants consisted of representatives from government agencies, the private sector, academics, experts, and other stakeholders.
