MOL Joins Partner Companies in Organizing 15 Blood Donation Events in Honour of His Majesty the King

            The Ministry of Labour together with companies and the National Blood Center, Thai Red Cross Society, organized the first mobile medical unit and blood donation project from the goal of 15 times to help workers and people who suffer from work hazards. The project also looks at promoting all sectors to recognize the sacrifice and doing good deeds without expecting returns and to celebrate the coronation ceremony of 2019.

 

 

            On May 15, 2019, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Suthi Sukosol chaired the opening ceremony of the "mobile medical unit and blood donation project on the occasion of the royal coronation" at Thai Honda Manufacturing Co., Ltd. located at 410 Lat Krabang Industrial Estate, Chalong Krung Road, Lam Pla Thew, Lat Krabang, Bangkok. The project was held for the first time from 15 times. The Ministry of Labour, together with Thai Honda Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and the National Blood Center, Thai Red Cross Society, held the project to celebrate His Majesty the King, on the occasion of the coronation of 2019. He said that His Majesty has been determined to make the country stable, to improve the lives of the people, continuing and maintaining projects from royal initiatives of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit in nourishment and happiness for the people and developing the country to progress, the source of many projects and activities to solve and alleviate the problems of the people around the country. The initiatives involve various agencies, both from the government and private sector, as well as charitable organizations working together regularly.
            The Deputy Permanent Secretary said that the blood donation activity was held for the first time with the target group of executives, civil servants and officers, as well as employer organizations and formal and informal workers. A total of 300 people participated in blood donations. The target is to host 15 blood donation events with three within the Ministry of Labour’s premises and 12 within companies’ premises, from May 4, 2019, to May 4, 2020. There are also exciting activities such as the Chalermprakiat exhibition and activity booths by agencies under the Ministry of Labour. The activities are held in continuation and fulfillment of His Majesty's determination, which shows the unity and cooperation from many agencies, including the Ministry of Labour, Thai Honda Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the National Blood Center, Thai Red Cross Society, Chalong Krung Police Station and Lat Krabang Industrial Estate, to help workers and people suffering from work hazards, and promote campaigns to realize sacrifices and good deeds without expecting rewards, and to express everyone’s loyalty.
