Labour Minister Visits Progress of EEC to Product Manpower in line with Business Needs

           On August 19, 2019, at 10.00 hours, Labour Minister M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul visited the progress of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) at the Office of the Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee (EECPC), located on the 3rd floor of CAT Telecom Building, No. 72, Soi Wat Muang Kha, Charoenkrung Road, Bang Rak, Bangkok.

           The visiting committee was welcomed by Secretary-General of the Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee Dr. Kanit Saengsuwan and the management team.
For this visit on the progress of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), the Labour Minister acknowledged issues from the Secretary-General of the Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee and the management team regarding the shortage of skilled labour which required a lot of human resources. The Ministry of Labour has the policy to produce a quality workforce, including developing professional skills for people of all ages to meet the needs of businesses in all sectors. It is also responsible for the input of human resources to support the development of the Eastern Economic Corridor.
