On January 24, 2023, at 10.00 hours, Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Mr. Suthep Chitvong, presided over the Committee Meeting on the Implementation of Promotion for Education and Employment Opportunities for Students and Workers at All Levels No. 1/2023 at the Rajawanlop Conference Room, 2nd floor, Ministry of Education.
The meeting considered an event to announce the joint performance between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labour of the working group in 4 areas: the working group on the big data database and the promotion of employment, the working group on curriculum development and the development of personnel and teachers, the working group on assessments and the establishment of skill standard assessment centers and the establishment of a competence assessment center, including the working group on the promotion and development of work in the management of bilateral vocational education and skill competitions.
In this regard, the Committee for the Implementation of Promotion of Education and Employment Opportunities for Students and Workers at All Levels is a collaboration between the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Education. They are currently jointly developing the curriculum, learning materials, and personnel development to be linked with labour skill standards and relevant laws to increase the number of labour skill standard assessment centers to another 70 places and competency assessment centers in 14 other educational institutions. The effort also aims to organize learning exchange workshops for employment. There will be a joint performance announcement event as well.
