Today (October 27, 2020) at 09.00 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol assigned Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Ms. Pattraporn Samatrat, as head of the delegation as ASEAN Senior Labour Officer (SLOM) for Thailand, to attend the 18th ASEAN Plus Three (SLOM + 3) Senior Labour Officials Meeting through video conference at the Sangsingkeaw Meeting Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. The meeting acknowledged the progress of activities on labour with the ASEAN Plus Three countries on occupational safety and health, labour relations, skill development promotion, and the promotion of social safety networks. The meeting discussed proposals/projects under the SLOM + 3 2021-2025 plan. It comprises six areas, including 1) Human resource development, 2) Integrated growth, 3) Sustainable development, 4) Social partnerships, 5) Occupational safety and health, and 6) Protection. The meeting agreed that the ASEAN and ASEAN Plus Three countries would continue to develop their cooperation in the future.
