Labour Minister Assigns Advisor to Accept Second Round of Youths from SBPAC in Southern Border Provinces to Send to Companies in Phetchaburi

          Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to Phetchaburi, accepting 77 youths from the three southern border provinces, from the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center (SBPAC) to deploy for work in companies in Phetchaburi. This was the second round, totaling 77 people, following the Co-Payment project, which aims to support employment in the southern border region, systematically move workers and bring stability and peace to the area.
          On November 26, 2020, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to Phetchaburi to accept 77 youths from the three southern border provinces, from the SBPAC, to deploy for work in companies participating in the employment promotion program for new graduates by the public and private sectors (Co-Payment). SBPAC’s Deputy Secretariat and Acting Secretariat, Rear Admiral Somkiat, Advisory Board Member to the Labour Minister Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Pairoj Chotiksetian, Deputy Governor of Phetchaburi Province Ms. Akarat Nakakong, heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Phetchaburi, and staff from the SBPAC also join the occasion. The Labour Minister’s Advisor said that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha, focuses on promoting employment to help people affected by Covid-19 return to employment, supporting their income and promoting speedy economic recovery. The Ministry of Labour, under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, as a supervisor of the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center, focuses on promoting employment, especially as most young people in the southern border provinces have not yet worked. The Ministry of Labour and agencies in the three southern border provinces, including Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat, have integrated to promote systematic labour movement. It is considered a solution to solving unemployment among people in the area and solving the labour shortages in the country.
          Mrs. Thiwalrat continued that the cooperation between the Ministry of Labor, the SBPAC and companies would bring youths from the southern border provinces to Phetchaburi. The Ministry of Labour will allow agencies to coordinate with the company, to take care of youths who come to work in the workplace.
