Labour Minister Assigns Advisor to Lead Team to Deliver Food and Encouragement to Medical Staff Treating Covid-19 Patients in Petchaburi

          Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned his Advisor to lead a team of heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Phetchaburi to provide food and encouragement to medical personnel in performing duties in treating Covid-19 patients at the Phetchaburi Social Security Office, Muang, Phetchaburi.

          On May 3, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to deliver 60 food sets and encouragement to medical personnel performing duties in treating Covid-19 patients. Phetchaburi Provincial Public Health Doctor Dr. Petchuek Tansawat received the supplies. The heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Phetchaburi Province also participated in the occasion at the Phetchaburi Social Security Office, Muang, Phetchaburi. The Labour Minister’s Advisor said that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and the Ministry of Labour under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, are concerned about the Covid-19 situation, especially workers who are affected. Therefore, the Ministry of Labour has been instructed to accelerate support and remedies in every dimension. Today, the Labour Minister’s Advisor was assigned by Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin to enter the area with the heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Phetchaburi Province to deliver food to the operating staff and to give words of encouragement to medical personnel performing their duties in caring and protecting the people in Phetchaburi to be safe from Covid-19, which is an emerging disease that spreads easily and quickly, causing severe symptoms that can lead to death.

          “Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin has shared his concern and encouragement to all of the devoted medical staff and volunteers who are in the front-line of treating Covid-19 patients. Cooperation from all sides will help clear the Covid-19 situation in the near future,” concluded Mrs. Thiwalrat.
