Labour Minister Assigns Advisor to Visit Insured Persons Injured from Train-Car Collision in Phetchaburi

           Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to give gifts and encouragement to insured people injured in a train accident in Phetchaburi Province.
           On October 16, 2020, the Labour Minister assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan to visit and give words of encouragement to insured persons involved in the train collision with a car at Phrachomklao Hospital in Phetchaburi, Mueang Phetchaburi, Phetchaburi. Director of King Mongkut’s Hospital in Phetchaburi Dr. Chumpol Dechaampai, Phetchaburi Social Security Officer Mrs. Rasamee Sujto, and heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour gave a welcoming.
           The Advisor to the Labour Minister said that the Prime Minister expressed condolences to the deceased’s family and those injured in this incident. One person who died, Ms. Thitichaya Yamkasen, 21, was a native of Ratchaburi province. Two people were injured, including Mr.Tirayut Khuentha, 39, the driver in the car, remained in serious condition with a fractured neck, and Mr. Bandit Charoensap, 33, a native of Chanthaburi, had severe injuries with a fracture in his left arm. For the two injured victims, the Social Security Office is responsible for all medical expenses. For the person who died, the family will receive 50,000 Baht for funeral fees, 30,000 Baht for compensation in the event of death, and 75,877.96 Baht for old age gratuity. The Labour Minister has instructed the relevant agencies to take full charge of the assistance to the victims.
