Labour Minister Assigns Assistant to Sa Kaeo to Monitor MOL Missions Following Policies

             The Labour Minister assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister to visit Sa Kaeo, meet with government agencies’ heads under the Ministry of Labour, listen to issues faced, and drive important labour policies. He also visited occupational groups, elderly worker groups, the Quality of Life Development Center, the Elderly Career Promotion Center, and social security patients.
             On October 20, 2020, at 10.00 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong and the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Pairoj Chotiksetian paid an official visit to Sa Kaeo to follow up on the Ministry of Labour’s missions, as well as to meet with the heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Sa Kaeo. The visiting committee also listened to a briefing on important labour policies and drivers, including labor issues in the area. The meeting took place at the meeting room in the administrative building, 2nd floor, Sa Kaeo Office of Skill Development.
             Mr. Surachai also observed a demonstration of driving a forklift with a simulator training device at a national labour skill standard assessment facility, in-home and small commercial air conditioning mechanics at the level 1 and 2 capacity. They also observed a training to prepare for the national skill standard assessment, in the manual arc welding branch, Tig welding, and max welding branch, at the National Skill Development Office. The visiting committee further observed activities carried out by occupational groups and elderly workers at the Quality of Life Development Center and the Elderly Career Promotion Center in Watthana Nakhon Sub-district Administrative Organization, Watthana Nakhon, Sa Kaeo. The activities including making garlands and products from loincloths and other products to connect with the OTOP market of Sa Kaeo. At present, the school for the elderly in the Watthana Nakhon Sub-district Administrative Organization has had an intake of two batches. The first batch comprised 70 people, and the second batch had 30. The Assistant to the Labour Minister also paid a visit and gave gifts to 10 insured person patients at the Sa Kaeo Crown Prince Hospital.
