On May 14, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin presided over the meeting via video conference system, together with the head of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in 12 areas in Bangkok and nine provinces, including Samut Prakan, Chon Buri, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Pathom, Chiang Mai, Rayong, and Chachoengsao. The meeting discussed the need for Covid-19 vaccinations for workers in the workplace. Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, the Labour Minister’s Secretariat Mr. Suthep Chitayawong, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives also joined the occasion at the Prasong Rananant meeting room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. The meeting’s objective was to accelerate control of the Covid-19 situation by vaccinating workers in risky areas and effectively administering the vaccine.
