Labour Minister Instructs Secretariat to Check Readiness of the Ministry of Labour Meets the People @Phuket Event

          On October 27, 2020, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Ministry of Labour’s Secretary-General Mr. Suthep Chitayavong to visit Phuket, to chair the meeting with departments under the Ministry of Labour to prepare for the Ministry of Labour Meets the People @Phuket event. Advisory Board Member to the Labour Minister Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat and Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mrs. Tongjai Suthat Na Ayutthaya, along with the head of government agencies, the Ministry of Labour in Phuket, attended this meeting as well, at the gymnasium building, Phuket Municipality.
          For the Ministry of Labour Meets the People @Phuket event, agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Phuket have scheduled the event to be held on November 2, at the gymnasium building, Phuket Municipality. There are interesting activities in the event, including the Phuket Job Fair, where there are more than 30 companies opening booths with 3,000 vacancies, a meeting with new graduates (Co-Payment), an expo on creating a career to earn income, and showcase products and products ready for sale by home workers and independent professional groups, along with training in 6 Andaman provinces, in 69 fields. The event will also host volunteer workers with 17 booths, skills development activities, skill training, skills standards assessment, certification knowledge, and a labour clinic to provide advice on legal rights that employees are entitled to and take case reports. It will also host influenza vaccination services to insured persons aged 50 years and over and recruiting insured persons under Section 39 and 40, including social security questions and answers that the people want to know.
