The Labour Minister organized the “Social Security, Love and Honesty” event on Valentine’s Day, to create a network of insurers, prepare family planning, to emphasize the awareness of one’s benefits and build a warm family. The activity took place at the Bang Sue District Office, Bang Sue, Bangkok.
On February 14, 2020, Labour Minister M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul presided over the opening ceremony of the ” Social Security, Love and Honesty” event at the Bang Sue District Office, Bang Sue, Bangkok. Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol, as chairman of the Social Security Committee, gave a report. The Labour Minister said that with government policy that set national development goals for “the nation to be stable, have happy people, continuous economic development, fair society, and sustainable natural resources” to upgrade the country’s potential in many dimensions. It aims to develop people in every aspect and at every period to be good, talented, and quality people, creating opportunities and social equality without leaving anyone behind.
M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul further said that the mission of the Ministry of Labour’s Social Security Office aims to raise the quality of life of employees, the insure,d and the people in society. Therefore, the development of social security, including creating awareness for employees, insurers and the general public on access to benefits and becoming an insurer in the social security system, will lead to the development of the quality of life of people in the society. This will result in the stability of the nation. The event today is for the benefit of insured employees and the public, in creating awareness of social security work and bringing valuable content on benefits that employees, insurers, and citizens need to know through activities, in the event, for the overall benefit of the insured employees and the public in preparation for family planning, and benefits for everyone.
For the said event, the Social Security Office organized under the “Bowon” principle, which is houses, temples, schools, and factories, to create a network in the area and conduct public relations news on social security, the Social Security Fund and the Compensation Fund, to create a mechanism to recognize and access coverage and benefits for all insured groups. This is also to guarantee security and good quality of life for oneself and family. It also aims to create awareness of social security work in terms of preparation for family planning among insurers, independent workers, and the general public to realize the importance of social security and benefits gained.
