On February 13, 2020, at 13.00 hours Advisor to the Labour Minister Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet observed the operations of the Sakon Nakhon Skill Development Office. Director-General of the Sakon Nakhon Skill Development Office Mr. Wichian Svetachrerk gave a welcoming. The visiting committee also planted trees (honeycomb trees) and observed the National Skill Standards Assessment (electricians) at Huai Yang, Mueang Sakon Nakhon. The visit included observations on the process of receiving complaints, the evaluation process for outstanding Labor Relations Excellent Year 2020 and listened to past work problems and obstacles. The visiting committee observed operations of the Sakon Nakhon Employment Office, whereby Sakon Nakhon Employment Officer Mr. Visoot Chonmueang welcomed the committee and led the visit. The visiting committee observed the process of work permit renewals for foreign workers between December 16, 2019, to February 6, 2020, where there were 143 foreign migrant workers resuming their licenses. They also observed the Sakon Nakhon Social Security Office, whereby Mrs. Boonrueang Jornsiri acting as Sakon Nakhon Social Security Officer, gave a welcoming and led the visit, observing people using services on contribution under Section 33, 39, and 40, which has created awareness and access to protection and benefits, under the name of “Bowonn” group, which are houses, temples, schools, factories, and civil services. The visiting committee also gave certificates to 2 social security network leaders of Section 40, under the 100% social security village program, consisting of Ban Don Chor and Ban Nong Bua Thong.
Furthermore, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet chaired a meeting to deliver policies to the heads of government under the Ministry of Labour in Sakon Nakhon Province. Acting Sakon Nakhon Provincial Governor Mr. Chuchat Maneerat, Sakon Nakorn Employment Officer Mr. Wisoot Chongmueang, Sakon Nakhon Skill Development Director-General Mr. Wichian Svetachrerk, Sakon Nakhon Labour Protection and Welfare Officer Ms. Sukanya Yaemsom and Acting Sakon Nakhon Social Security Officer Mrs. Boonrueang Jornsiri, together with the department officials under the Ministry of Labour, accepted the policy at the Social Security Office in Sakon Nakhon Province.
