On November 23, 2020, at 09.30 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong to preside over the seminar project for the third class of employers, employees, medical staff, and social security officers, to develop medical services and to coordinate relationships and good understanding. The training emphasizes treatment standards that are equal with quality, reduces complaints in treatment services, and creates satisfaction for insured persons. Deputy Secretary-General of the Social Security Office Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut gave a report and Deputy Governor of Chonburi Mr. Thawatchai Srithong gave a welcoming at the Novotel Marina Sriracha Hotel, in Chonburi.
The Assistant to the Labour Minister said that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and the Ministry of Labour under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, has given importance to the protection of workers, and equal entitlement to all sectors, creating opportunity creation and comprehensive security, suitable for people of all ages and professions. This includes promoting the elderly to have stability in their lives, which will give confidence in working and boost the country’s development, positively affecting the economy and generating income for the nation.
The Social Security Office is determined to create social security that is comprehensive and suitable for all ages and all professional groups, to support the rapid changes in the context of an aging society. It is also the main agency in organizing medical services for insured persons and employees with standardized medical care, including health promotion and disease prevention to reduce illness or danger, both due to work and not due to work. The seminar for employers, employees, medical staff, and social security officers aims to create a good understanding and develop coordination among employers, employees, health care workers, and social security officers, along with building knowledge of health to promote good potential and good quality of life, aligning to the expectations of insured persons and building a good reputation for the Social Security Office, concluded Mr. Surachai.
