MOL Commences First National Advisory Committee Meeting for the Ship to Shore Rights Program in Southeast Asia

    On March 10, 2021, at 13.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol assigned Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour Ms. Pattaraporn Samantarat, to chair the opening of the first National Advisory Committee Meeting for the Ship to Shore Rights Program in Southeast Asia, organized by the International Labour Office in Thailand, Cambodia, and Lao PDR. The meeting discussed promoting safe and normal migration for migrant workers in the fishing and seafood processing industries in Southeast Asia, which took place at the Amari Watergate Bangkok.

    The meeting considered the report on results of the National Consultative Meeting on January 21, 2021, and reviewed and approving the draft activity plan drawn from the electronic ballot results in February.
