Today (November 24, 2020) at 09.00 hours, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Miss Aumpun Thuvavit chaired the Ministry of Labour’s Computer System Management and Procurement Committee meeting no. 9/2020. Relevant departments also joined the meeting, which took place at the Prasong Rananant meeting room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. The meeting considered the Social Security Office’s projects and procurement of computer equipment for the 2021 fiscal year, including the purchase of local area network (LAN) equipment to replace older systems, purchase of video conference systems to replace older systems, the development of systems to support services (Queue), and the project for renting a data communication network system for social security services. Furthermore, the meeting considered projects and procurement of computer equipment proposed for the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare’s 2022 budget, namely the project to increase the efficiency of information systems in service with Container technology.
