On June 16, 2021, at 09.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol chaired the State Enterprise Labour Relations Committee Meeting No. 3/2021. The meeting considered the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority’s request for approval to adjust welfare related to medical treatment regarding room and food rates for workers and family members. The Provincial Waterworks Authority would like to increase the monthly compensation for employees working in risky areas in the southern border provinces. The Rubber Authority of Thailand requested special welfare payments to workers in risky areas in the southern border provinces and requested approval for the business plan and establishment of MEA Smart Energy Solutions Company Limited of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority. It also set the scope of employment conditions related to financing each state enterprise that may operate independently according to Section 13 (2) in the case of procuring the Covid-19 vaccine. The meeting took place at the Prof. Nikom Chandravithu meeting room, 5th floor, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Ministry of Labour.
