Today (November 25, 2020) at 13.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol presided over the Labour Skill Development Promotion Committee Meeting No. 9/2020 with relevant departments at the Pakorn Angsusingh meeting room, 10th floor, Department of Skill Development. The meeting sought approval for the draft of the National Skill Development Promotion Committee’s announcement regarding the determination of the rate for assessments under the National Skill Standards (No. ..) to certify workers’ skill standards for professionals under Section 26 of the Labour Skill Development Promotion Act B.E. 2545, and request for approval to revise the order of the Skill Development Promotion Committee on the appointment of a subcommittee to set the national skill standards in electronics and computer technicians, household and small commercial air conditioning, service sector and truck driver branch. The meeting also requested approval for the draft order of the Skill Development Promotion Committee in the service sector and logistics branch, approval in the principle of a fee waiver on knowledge and capability certification and approval to transfer the change of administrative expenses for 2021 fiscal year, under the operating budget category “remuneration, utilities and materials, expense items in research”, which is an operating budget “for other expenses and consultant wages.”
