Sawaddee Club University Brunei Darussalam organized the activity to help Thais in Southern Thailand

        On Friday-Sunday, 10th -13th December 2010, Sawaddee Club of University Brunei Darussalam arranged the activity to sell cheap-used products with an aim to earn the income for aiding flood affected Thai people in 3 provinces. Most of products are student’s clothes in good conditions, books, toys, utensils, flashlight, etc. All are sold at 1 Dollar or 23 Baht 
      Office of Thai Labour Affairs in Brunei, Royal Thai Embassy at Bandar Seri Begawan coordinated with manger of Veemarsetia Building in arranging the 2nd floor of the building for the area to sell the products for Thais and Thai workers on 12 December. There were a large number of customers came to shop from 09.00 am.-3.00pm in which circulation of almost 500 Dollars gained.
       Ms. Mizah, the student, said that she and her friends, a member of Sawaddee Club, planned to teach English language to Thai students in Yala Province at the end of December but after she has known that flood-situation in Southern of Thailand remained serious; she therefore joined forces to assist those people by arranging the activity to sell second hand products. After 3 days sale, it gained almost 1,000 Dollars income in which it would be delivered to the affected family later on.
       Low priced products for sale will be held again on Sunday 19th December 2010 from 09.00 am. onward at 2nd floor of Vemarsetia Building, a Thai society.
       Thai labours and Thais who intend to help the flood affected people in Southern of Thailand are invited to shop.
