On January 18, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, welcomed the Chairman of the Bangkok Street Hawker Club, Ms. Yada Phornpetchrampha, and committee from the Bangkok Street Hawker Club, the Electric Vehicle Taxi Association and the Association of Public Hired EV Electric Motorcycle Riders, to meet with the Labour Minister, to thank the government and the Ministry of Labor for helping to support informal workers from the impact of COVID-19. For example, helping to push for the Informal Workers Protection Act, applying for Section 40, and sharing survival bags and boxed lunches during the COVID-19 outbreak to alleviate suffering and ease the burden of living expenses until being able to overcome that crisis. The Ministry of Labour’s executives also joined the occasion at the Chatumongkhol Meeting Room, 6th floor, the Ministry of Labour.
