          Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin welcomed the Minister of Tourism and Sports to discuss measures to help tourism business staff affected by Covid-19 in the case of orders to temporarily close the premises.           Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister to drive the “Chonburi Model,” monitoring proactive Covid-19 screening in workplaces. Labour Minister Assigns Secretariat to Visit and Encourage Medical Personnel, Providing Facilities and Equipment to Prevent Covid-19 in Chonburi

          On January 15, 2021, at 10.00 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Labour Minister’s Secretariat Mr. Suthep Chitayavong to visit Chonburi, visiting the Covid-19 screening checkpoints and providing facilities and equipment to prevent Covid-19 such as PPE kits, hand sanitizers, alcohol, sanitary gloves for staff for use in their duties. MOL Advisory Board Accepts Claims to Help Informal Workers Amid Covid-19

          Today (January 14, 2021) at 13.45 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisory Board Member to the Minister of Labour Mr. Natthawat Teeratathamrong, to accept claims from the Chairman of the Informal Workers’ Federation (Thailand) Mr. Somkid Duangnoen and people from the informal worker networks, that filed claims for informal workers in the face of the second wave of Covid-19 outbreaks. Proactive Covid-19 Screening Starts in Factories Located in Highly Controlled Areas to Support Employees and Employers Following Government Policy

       Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin reported that on January 9, 2021, screening measures will start among workers in establishments in the most controlled areas.           On January 8, 2021, at 14.00 hours, an Official at the Secretariat Office of the Prime Minister Police General Nantachat Supamongkol chaired the meeting of heads of government agencies in the southern provinces to monitor the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic through video conference, to monitor the situation report and take other actions related to the orders the MOL CCSA in the province.
