The Department of Labour Protection and Welfare’s Director-General Mr. Apinya Sucharitanan, chaired the meeting to understand the GLP background as an operational guideline, performance on following GLP, and the action plan for the implementation of GLP in the 2021 fiscal year.           Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin presided over the International Women’s Day event and awarded “Outstanding Working Woman” of 2021 plaques to honour working women who behave as a role model, showcasing good qualities in self and occupation, morality, and ethics, and as a key contributor to society.           On March 8, 2021, at 13.30 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin chaired the International Women’s Day event and awarded “Outstanding Working Woman” of 2021 plaques to honour qualified women under the concept of “Women Workers Unite Through Crisis, Driving the Thai Economy Sustainably.” The meeting took place at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok. MOL Board of Directors for New Employment Promotion Program for New Graduates by the Public and Private Sectors (Co-Payment) Meet for No. 4/2021

         On March 3, 2021, at 13.30 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Labour Minister’s Secretariat Mr. Suthep Chitayavong, to preside over the Board of Directors meeting for the new employment promotion program for new graduates by the public and private sectors (Co-Payment) No. 4/2021. The meeting took place at the Tri Thep 2 meeting room, 14th floor, Department of Employment. Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, co-chaired the meeting. MOL International Women’s Day Organizing Committee Meets for No. 1/2021

          On March 1, 2021, at 13.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol  chaired the International Women’s Day Organizing Committee Meeting No. 1/2021 to summarize the selection of outstanding working women and present the theme of the International Women’s Day 2021 event and venue decoration. The meeting reported on the progress in planning for the preparation of International Women’s Day 2021. The planning consists of four groups: ceremonial and awards, public relations, personnel recruitment, registration and welcoming, and the health care facility, safety, and activities working groups. MOL Organizes Merit-Making Activities for February 2021

On February 25, 2021, at 07.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol presided over the merit-making ceremony for February 2021. Police Major General Nantachat Supamongkol from the Office of the Prime Minister’s Secretariat performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Ms. Aumphan Thuvavit, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Niyom Songkaew, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Phairoj Chotikasathian, the Ministry of Labour’s executives, officials and officers also joined the merit-making activities (rice and dried foods) for nine monks from Wat Thephli La.             On February 22, 2021, at 13.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol assigned Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Niyom Songkaew to attend the fact-checking committee meeting in the expansion of the model city project, the “stable, prosperous and sustainable triangle” to the fourth model city in Chana District, Songkhla. The model city is called the “Progressive Industrial Model City of the Future,” and the meeting was organized for the second time this year. MOL Commences Seminar to Enhance Morality and Transparency for the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour in 2021

          On February 19, 2021, at 8.30 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol, commenced the seminar to raise morality and transparency for the Permanent Secretary of Labour’s operations in the 2021 fiscal year. The seminar also delivered policies and guidelines for driving morality and transparency in the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour’s operations to enhance knowledge and understanding among relevant government officials regarding data preparation methodology, documenting evidence, and importing data through IT systems. The event aims to raise the level of morality and transparency in government agencies’ performance under the Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour to a higher score.
