The Ministry of Labour, through the Department of Employment, has announced its readiness to organise “JOB EXPO THAILAND 2026”, the largest job fair of the year, under the key message “every job position fits every lifestyle: Thais must have jobs”, to be held from January 16-18, 2026, from 10.00 – 19.00, at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Halls 5–6. The event will feature over 500,000 domestic and overseas job vacancies, along with activities to enhance knowledge and understanding, upskill, provide vocational training, and offer comprehensive job application support. It will also bring together fashion, food, art, entertainment, and engaging workshops in one place.
Ms. Trinuch Thienthong, Minister of Labour, revealed that Thailand currently has over 40 million workers in the labour system. Yet, there remains a significant number of unemployed people and workers whose jobs do not match their skills or capabilities. This is particularly evident as the labour market transitions amid global economic conditions, technological change, and new industrial structures. Many employers still require workers with specific skills, while some workers lack access to suitable job opportunities. This gap represents a key challenge in Thailand’s current labour market. The Ministry of Labour, therefore, plays a crucial role as a connector between people, jobs, and skills, systematically aligning them so Thai workers can adapt and compete effectively in the modern labour market. As such, the Ministry of Labour is organising JOB EXPO THAILAND 2026 once again to ensure that all groups of Thai people, across all ages and lifestyles, can access job opportunities suited to their potential in an inclusive manner.
Ms. Trinuch added that the event will bring together job openings from leading companies across a wide range of industries, offering real recruitment opportunities and allowing job seekers to meet and speak directly with employers. In addition, there will be comprehensive job application systems and career counselling, as well as activities designed to enhance employment opportunities, such as panel discussions, experience sharing, knowledge transfer, the development of essential work skills, and self-potential discovery. Participants will gain not only job opportunities but also knowledge and inspiration.
“I would like to invite the public, job seekers, workers, the younger generation, and employers to attend JOB EXPO THAILAND 2026, because the heart of the Government’s mission is to ensure that ‘Thais must have jobs’ in a comprehensive, concrete, and sustainable manner,” said the Minister of Labour.
Mr. Somchai Maruksriwan, Director-General of the Department of Employment, said that JOB EXPO THAILAND 2026 will feature a wide range of employment-promotion activities, including domestic and overseas job matching, on-site and online job applications, positions for the elderly and persons with disabilities, promotion of self-employment, franchise business opportunities, and home-based work. These initiatives are part of the Ministry of Labour’s policy to strengthen Thailand’s labour market through public-private sector cooperation, reduce unemployment, increase employment opportunities, and reinforce the national economy.
The event will host over 28 leading companies, including Minor International PCL, Boon Rawd Brewery Co., Ltd., Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd., CJ Express Group Co., Ltd., the BJC Big C Group, Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL, CP All PCL, Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Thai Beverage PCL, and many others. In addition, more than 100 employers from various industries, such as technology, logistics, sales, finance, services, healthcare, manufacturing, and freelance work, will participate, offering over 500,000 job positions both domestically and internationally, enabling attendees to complete the entire job application process in one place.
“Furthermore, there will be activities and job opportunities suitable for all age groups, including paid internships and CV-writing clinics for students, full-time jobs, part-time work, supplementary income opportunities for working-age adults, consultations with well-known franchise owners, and job positions tailored to the capabilities of persons with disabilities. This ensures equal access to the labour market for everyone. Do not miss JOB EXPO THAILAND 2026, taking place from January 16-18, 2026, from 10.00 – 19.00 hours, at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Halls 5–6.
