Labour Minister Delighted for Almost 8 Million Registrations to “Section 33 We Love Each Other” Project in First Five Days Accounting for Over 90 Percent of Eligible Persons

           Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomlin was delighted that the “Section 33 We Love Each Other” project has seen a continual rise in online registrations through the first five days. To date (February 26, 2021, at 08.00 hours), a total of 7,909,258 people have registered, which is close to 8 million. The registrations account for over 90 percent of all eligible persons. The Labour Minister insisted that the SSO already has a database of employers and individual employees and assured that insured persons under Section 33 do not worry about lost information. For insured persons who are still unable to register, the system will open for a rights review on March 15. He emphasized that those who have not registered yet quickly do so via the www.M33WeLoveEachOther.com website before the end of March 7.

           On February 26, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin reported online registrations’ progress for the “Section 33 We Love Each Other” project, which commenced registrations on February 21. Until today (at 08.00 hours, February 26, 2021), which has been five days, 7,909,258 insured persons have registered online, reaching almost 8 million people, equivalent to over 90 percent of all eligible insurers. Eligible persons must be an insured person under Section 33 before the date February 15. In the past, the Social Security Office has facilitated insured persons by arranging staff to serve information over the phone if persons have problems with the registration. In addition to the advantages of the “Section 33, We Love Each Other” project, the Social Security Office also has a database of employers and individual employees in the system, so relevant parties do not have to worry about missing information. Insured persons who are still unable to register will be able to review their rights on March 15.            Mr. Suchart said that the “Section 33 We Love Each Other” project was approved by the Cabinet under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha. The project was approved on February 15, 2021. The government will pay a 4,000 Baht relief for eligible persons. The Ministry of Labour, under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, was assigned to expedite the program. Today, the Labour Minister followed up on online registrations’ progress to the program, as today is the fifth day for applications. As of today, almost 8 million registrations have been received, equivalent to over 90 percent of eligible persons.

           The Labour Minister has emphasized that insured persons under Section 33 meet all of the required conditions to apply. Qualifiers must be of Thai nationality, be an insured person under Section 33, not have a state welfare card, and did not receive rights to the “We Win” program. Qualifiers must not have over 500,000 Baht in deposits as of December 31, 2020, and must register before the deadline on March 7. Applicants must register via the www.M33WeLoveEachOther.com website and check their eligibility. The banks will then check the information and process screening from March 8 to 14, 2021. Applicants can check the status of the eligibility via the www.M33WeLoveEachOther.com website and confirm their identity through the ‘Pao Tang’ application on March 15 to 21, 2021, to receive the credit limit through the ‘Pao Tang’ application of 1,000 Baht per time, totaling 4,000 Baht on March 22 and 29, and April 5 and 12, 2021. Users can use the ‘Pao Tang’ application to pay for products and services with merchants from the “We Win” project from March 22 to May 31, 2021. To review rights, those who do not qualify will be able to request a review through the www.M33WeLoveEachOther.com website from March 15 to 28, 2021. The banks will check the information and process screening from March 29 to April 4, 2021. Users can check the eligibility status via the www.M33WeLoveEachOther.com website and confirm their identity through the ‘Pao Tang’ application from April 5 to 11, 2021. They will receive the credit limit through the ‘Pao Tang’ application on April 12 and 19, 2021, of 2,000 Baht per time. Users can use the ‘Pao Tang’ application to pay for products and services through shops/operators/services that use the “Money Bag” application for the “Half Each” and “We Win” projects from April 12 to May 31 2021.
