Labour Minister Visits Covid-19 Screening Service Point at Chonradsadornumrung School in Chonburi to Encourage Medical Personnel and Insured Persons

          On July 17, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin visited the proactive COVID-19 testing service point for Section 33 insured persons and the general public at the Chonradsadornumrung (Chonchai) School, Muang District, Chonburi. Assistant to the Labour Minister Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, the Labour Minister’s Secretariat Mr. Suthep Chitayawong, Chonburi Deputy Provincial Governor Mr. Thawatchai Srithong, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives also joined the occasion. Mr. Suchart said that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha and the Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, overseeing the Ministry of Labour, is concerned about the workforce and the people amid the ongoing COVID-19 situation. Therefore, he has emphasized that the Labour Minister takes care of the employees and insured persons closely by arranging proactive Covid-19 screening points for insured persons to control the outbreaks in the dark red areas. The Labour Minister has instructed the Social Security Office to work with the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Public Health, and the National Health Security Office (NHSO), to commence the Covid-19 screening point for insured persons and the general public to use in screening for COVID-19.

          Mr. Suchart said that today, he and his executive committee had the opportunity to visit the Chonburi area to visit and encourage medical personnel and insured persons at the proactive COVID-19 screening point. The effort received great cooperation from the screening facility from Chonradsadornumrung (Chonchai) School and Vibharam Hospital, Laem Chabang, Chonburi Province, to provide screening services for the insured persons the general public. Those who want to undergo screening can register via https://sso.icntracking.com. Insured persons the general public do not have to pay for the screening. After the test, the hospital will notify the results of the COVID-19 screening via QR Code, SMS, and by phone. If an infected person is found, they must promptly enter the control and care process prescribed by the Ministry of Public Health. The screening point can accommodate 1,000 people per day. Insured persons must carry an ID card along with one copy as evidence for the examination. If that day is full, they can go for screening services on the next day.
