Ministry of Labour listens to the proposals of employers who employ foreign workers and consider them in conjunction with the Aliens Administration Act.

            On June 1, 2018, at 09.00 am, Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark, Permanent Secretary of Labor Receive a letter from Mr. Piphu-ek Sakullim, representative of employers who work with foreign workers and the committee for help to correct and improve occupations that prohibit aliens to comply with the Aliens Management Act and suggestions on the career of employees or employees of the store, restaurant, nail salon with foreign workers to be a cashier at the meeting room of the Labor Relations Committee Building, the Ministry of Labor.

            Mr. Jarin Chakkaphark, Permanent Secretary of Labor, said that this is a policy. The work that can be done for foreign workers will be based on four main tasks that are unique or identity of Thai people must be reserved. The number of times needed and not to compete with the Thai people. This will be the basis for consideration and ready to take the opinion of employers who use foreign workers to process and propose to the meeting and the meeting decided again. The Thai people are the least affected and most benefit to Thais. In this regard, there will be a meeting in mid this month. This will take effect on July 1, 2018.
           Mr Piphu-ek Sakullim, a representative of foreign workers, said the visit was to help foreign workers to work as a cashier in stores , restaurants, or simple manicures due to the lack of labor and the inability to find Thai people. The confederation of this time is to reflect the government is aware that this problem occurs.
