MOL Discusses Short Film on Fisherman Victims of Human Trafficking

          Today January 22, 2020) at 09.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol assigned Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour Mrs. Phattana Phanfak to chair the meeting of the Command Center of Prevention on Labour, to discuss ways to create short films about fishers who are victims of human trafficking. The Strategy and Planning Division, the International Cooperation Bureau, the Office of the Permanent Secretary, the Department of Employment, the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, and the Freedom Fund, also participated. The meeting discussed the guidelines for creating short films about fishermen who were victims of human trafficking, to raise public awareness of efforts to tackle human trafficking in fishing and rehabilitation to support fishermen who are victims. The short film will be used as a case study to present the work of the people sector. The meeting took place at the Strategy and Planning Division, 13th floor, Ministry of Labour.
