The Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, revealed that the U.S. Department of State had released its Trafficking In Person (TIP) Report 2022, which compiles data on trafficking in persons from 188 countries and territories annually. This year, Thailand has been upgraded to “Tier 2” from the original “Tier 2 Watch List” or “Tier 2 to Watch Out For” or must be monitored in 2021.
