The Wage Committee’s resolution for the 2022 minimum wage adjustment is divided into nine rates. The highest are Chonburi, Rayong, and Phuket, which increased to 354 Baht. The lowest are Yala, Pattani, Narathiwat, Nan, and Udon Thani, which increased to 328 Baht. Bangkok and the surrounding provinces are at 353 baht. The Ministry of Labour summarized the results for the proposal to the Cabinet to consider as soon as possible, to come into effect on October 1, 2022. The Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, spoke after chairing the 21st Wage Committee Meeting No. 8/2022.
