Notice: Office of Labour Affairs in Malaysia notices that there are Thai women illegally coming to work as coyote or go-go dancer in entertainment spots in Johor, which is located nearby Singapore. The performances are popular among Singaporeans and Malaysians who enjoy night out. These Thai women are often arrested and some of them have been arrested before. However, they still continue to illegally come to work as such. On December 200, Office of Labour Affairs in Malaysia was reported of the big arrest of over 40 Thai women.

Coyote dance is morally sensitive in Malaysia as it could say that the performance is the cause of prostitution. This will affect the reputation of Thailand. Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Department of Consular Affairs) has often given out the warning. In this connection, Ministry of Labour would like to also give out the warning because these types of job are illegal and they go against Malaysian culture and moral.
