On August 31, 2021, at 15.30 hours, Assistant Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office, performing duties at the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Pornsak Charoenprasert, presided over the closing ceremony and awarded certificates to participants who joined the training program to promote elderly workers to enhance career opportunities, in the Additional Vocational Training Courses on Weaving Products from Natural Materials. The occasion occurred at the School for the Elderly, Thung Chai, Uthumphon Phisai, Sisaket Province. Advisor to the Labour Minister Mr. Thanakrit Jirivipakorn, heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Sisaket Province, member of the Sisaket Provincial Administrative Organization, District 1, Mr. Theerapat Phokham, and the Thung Chai Subdistrict Administrative Organization also participated in the closing ceremony. The project received budget support from the Ministry of Labour’s Department of Skill Development, following the Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin’s policy to promote benefits for elderly workers to have a career and be able to earn income to support themselves and their families, and improve their quality of life sustainably.
