Change Leadership Association for Labour Department and Thai Health Promotion Foundation Congratulate Permanent Secretary and Discuss Official Matters

          Today (June 21, 2019) at 14.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol welcomed Mr. Thapabut Chomseevi, President of the Change Leadership Association for Labour Development, Mr. Arthit Ismo, Vice President of the Change Leadership Association for Labour Development and Dr. Saritha Somsup, head of the Working-age Health Group from the Bureau of Health Promotion, Department of Health, on courtesy call to congratulate the Permanent Secretary on his appointment to the new position. The occasion took place at the Permanent Secretary of Labour office on the 7th floor, Ministry of Labour. The parties also discussed the Certification of Training and Development Program Act.

          The Ministry of Public Health initiated the CSR in Health for Happy & Healthy workplace project with the objective of enhancing the health of the working-age population in Thailand to have good health and a better quality of life. It aims to promote awareness and the exchange of ideas and guidelines for health promotion and quality of life in the workplace, and demonstrate the integration of health promotion operations among relevant agencies including the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Industry, the Office of the Permanent Secretary, the Bangkok Administration, the Thai Health Promotion Foundation, the Private Hospital Association Thailand and the Federation of Thai Industries. A signing ceremony will be organized for a memorandum of cooperation on health promotion and disease prevention for working people in the workplace, and campaigns launching 10 packages to promote workplace health and environment.
