Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Attends Ceremony to Present Vocational Training Toolkits to Self-Employed Workers

            February 27, 2026, 10.00 hours – Mr. Santi Nantasuwan, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, attended as a guest of honour at the ceremony to present basic vocational training toolkits or livelihood toolkits. The ceremony was presided over by Ms. Trinuch Thienthong, Minister of Labour, who presented the basic training toolkits. Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, Director-General of the Department of Skills Development, delivered the report, with executives of the Ministry of Labour also present as guests of honour. The event took place at the Meeting Room, 6th Floor, DSD Building, Department of Skill Development.

            A total of 74 trainees from five training cohorts received livelihood toolkits following completion of their training programmes in Professional Bakery Production and Street Food Preparation. The toolkits provided included electric ovens, food mixers, high-pressure gas stove sets with accessories, gas grill sets with accessories, and electric air fryers. The recipients will utilise these tools to pursue their livelihoods and start their own businesses.
