On May 1, 2020, at 13.00 hours, Labour Minister M.R. Chatu Mongol Sonakul welcomed President of the Thai Federation of Workers with Disabilities Mr. Cheewanon Pornratthanikul and committee. The meeting discussed and requested the Ministry of Labour to arrange training and skill development specifically in line with the labour market. It requested that the government and establishments maintain the employment ratio of disabled persons at 100:1 and create incentives for companies to employ people with disabilities, such as three-times tax deduction and finding employment for people with disabilities in border provinces to reduce congestion in larger provinces.
