Gen. Adul announced the results of scanning the alien iris, accelerated reports online or nationwide on 31 March 2018

          (Mar 28, 2018) H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor, visited the PIPO Control Center for Fishing Vessels in Samut Sakhon Province to monitor the Iris Scan System of fishery workers, aquatic processing, and continuous sea fishing at Pier organization, Samut Sakhon, said that the Iris scanning to store the identity of migrant workers: Sea fishing, processing, aquatic processing and marine fisheries continuous 22 coastal provinces. This is an important mission that the Prime Minister has assigned to the Ministry of Labor to collect data by scanning the retina of approximately 175,500 foreign workers. Samutsakhon has the largest number of about 70,000 people. There are 24 sets of operations to carry out scanning of the Iris in 7 provinces with many foreign workers to meet the deadline. Currently, 99% of foreign workers in Chachoengsao, Samutprakarn province will need to have a scan of the iris, about 700 people, including about 400 foreign workers in the business. 300 people have been coordinated to return the workers to land on March 30 and will be completed by March 31, 2018 according to the Prime Minister’s policy.

          H.E. Police General Adul added that for the operation of the OSS from the total of 1.6 million people, there are currently 930,000 foreign workers reporting each step. Approximately 200,000 people are still employed by the MOU.
