On September 20, 2018, at 08.00, H.E. Police General, Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor (as Prime Minister) chairman of the Government Department, Mrs. Uasanee Sangsingkeo, Senior Advisor, Thai Airways Public Company Limited, Chairman of State Enterprise, and Mr. Sawit Kaewwan, Secretary General of State Enterprise Labor Relations, President of Labor, presided over the State Enterprise Day, 2018 at the headquarters of the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority, Laksi, Bangkok, there were about 400 delegates from government agencies supervising state enterprises and representatives from state enterprises.
The State Enterprise Labor Relations Association has proposed that the government announces that every September 20 of every year is a Thai state enterprise. It is not a holiday. The State Enterprise and Labor Confederation cooperated with government and state enterprises with government agencies and people organizing activities since 2001 until the present. King Rama 5 is graciously pleased to proclaim His Majesty King Rama 5 th anniversary as the “Father of Thai State Enterprises” and to honor His Majesty the King on the occasion of His Majesty the King’s Birthday to publish and publicize the importance of state enterprises to the nation and the people, employees of state enterprises, civil servants, and the general public. It recognizes the importance of Thai state enterprises and to build good relationships between executives, employees, and employees of state-owned enterprises. Government officials and sectors together to protect state-owned enterprises as a national treasure.
