Gen. Adul visited young labor force in Nakhon Phanom, happy young people intend to work during school holidays

          H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor inspected the operation and encourages the students to participate in Civil Society Project Youth labor at Lotus Mall. Nakhon Phanom Province with the head of the government of Nakhon Phanom. The Minister of Labor visited the youths participating in the youth labor program in three establishments: The Pizza Company, Lotus, Swensens, Lotus and Ekachai. With over 77 young laborers, the Ministry of Labor has prepared more than 30,000 job vacancies nationwide for students interested in joining the program Civil Society Project Youth labor. The entrepreneur will have allowances as well as welfare for 2 meals, as well as practice, assignment of duties. The compensation will be not less than 40 baht per hour, which some establishments will pay 48 baht per hour work. Students participating in the program receive a minimum of 300 baht per day also know the value of money and know how to save money, including discipline in saving as well.

          “Young workers in each establishment will have a mentor to provide advice on the work. The Ministry of Labor will co-ordinate with the establishments to evaluate the performance. If they are well behaved and work well, they will receive a certificate from the establishment and the Ministry of Labor. This will be the basis for enhancing life skills in the world of work for students before entering the labor market,”Gen. Adm said in the end.

          For the project “Civil Society Project Youth labor” General Prayut Chan-ocha, the Prime Minister, has a policy to promote work for students during school breaks or free time. It works in a civilized form that integrates the Ministry of Labor with the private sector and the education sector encouraging students to spend their free time, enriching their work experience, earning money while studying with proper careers, parents are able to alleviate their parental burden and prepare them for future labor market access.
