On June 19 and 20, 2019, Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Apinya Sucharitanan as chairperson, the Department of Employment’s Inspector-General Mr. Suwan Duangta as deputy chairperson and representative of the foreign worker management office and Office of the Fund’s Director Mrs. Aree Sawaschookaew as secretariat, received a briefing and clarification at the Ban Khlong Luek border checkpoint and the Sa Kaeo receiving center. The subcommittee monitoring and evaluating the operational results and expenditure of the fund monitored and listen to a briefing on the performance of the anti-illegal worker and elimination program for illegal smuggling in the responsible area of the Taksin Navy camp, Chanthaburi. The subcommittee entered the area to observe operations following the said project at Ban Laem checkpoint and followed up operational results in Sa Kaeo province project to inspect and intercept smuggled migrant workers on land of the Army, the investigation, suppression, arrest, push, and return of migrant workers fleeing the city out of the Kingdom of the Immigration Bureau and investigation and suppression of migrant workers and the receiving center for employment in Sa Kaeo of the Department of Employment.
