Inspector-General of Labour Meets Elderly Group in Occupational Relief Program in Nakhon Phanom

             On July 19, 2019, at 10.00 hours, The Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Somsak Apiwantakul and the Department of Employment’s Inspector-General Ms. Anchana Hiranpruek and Nakhon Phanom Labour Official Mr. Montchai Dechpol visited a group of fairy mushroom cultivators at Ban Huai Hai Pattana, Ban Kho, Phon Sawan, Nakhon Phanom. The group continued cultivation from the project to resolve occupational problems in 2017.
             The Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General and committee visited the elderly group earning an income from the development of skills following to the project to resolve occupational problems on mushroom processing, plastic basket weaving, making herbs for health and flowers at Huai Hai Health Promotion Hospital, Ban Kho, Phon Sawan, Nakhon Phanom. The hospital’s director, Mr. Woramit Cha-sa-nguan, welcomed the visiting committee, whereby Mrs. Rungthip Pakdee, a labour volunteer in Ban Kho led the integration of the elderly group to practice skills and generated additional income continuously.
             In the afternoon of the same day, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General and committee also visited a skills development program on creating products from reeds, following the skills development project in special economic development areas, hosted by the Nakhon Phanom Skill Development Office at Ban Kham Hai, Hat Phaeng, Si Songkhram, Nakhon Phanom.
