During 16-20 August 2010, 2 teachers from the Khonkaen College of Agriculture and Technology made a tour of inspection at the Semaun prim sendirian bhd.sdn Hydronics farming in a bid to send students to train Hydroponics and flowering plant farming. And on hand to welcome the teachers was Mr. Chatchai Amornthup, the Director of the farm. There were further discussions about the operation since the first visit of the observation group in June.

Mr. Joonladol Srimana, the senior professional level teacher and Mr. Poonpon Sirichokchai, the professional level teacher disclosed that the college was ready to send biological sciences students to have a training here. From out observation of the flowering plant & garden tree market, and garden décor in market fairs & stores, we saw that Brunei people liked low-cast easy-care flowering plants. They tended to produce fast-growing & easy-care plants which yielded prompt revenue and profit. In this way, the entrepreneur would allow 3 students from the College to receive the primary training. As for the requirement of the Brunei authority, the Office of Labour Affairs in Brunei, the Royal Thai Embassy, was coordinating with Authority. In the meantime, the College would further prepare students by for example strengthening their English, flower pot design and arrangement skill, gardening skill, and décor price evaluation skill.

Mrs. Waesong Deleng, the Minister, and Mr. Thawat Sumitmor, the Counselor also participated to propose opinions and prepare for the road map of this operation is such a way that would secure the agreement between the two countries. They would also continue to report the progress made to the Ministry of Foreign Affair so that it could help to push the operation through. It is expected that the Committee will be established to work on the issue.
