On July 31 to August 2, 2019, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Somsak Apiwantanakul, the Department of Employment’s Inspector-General Ms. Anchana Hiranpruek, the Department of Skill Development’s Director-General Mr. Vichai Piwsaard and the Social Security Office’s Inspector-General Mrs. Pidsamai Nithipaiboon conducted the third round of monitoring/evaluations to assess the overall performance of agencies under the Ministry of Labour, following the government’s annual audit plan for 2019. Heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour from Chumphon and Surat Thani provinces also attended the meeting to clarify information. On August 2, 2019, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Somsak Apiwantakul, the Social Security Office’s Inspector-General Mrs. Pidsamai Nithipaiboon, along with the head of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour from Surat Thani province discussed official matters with Koh Samui District Chief Mr. Prinya Udomsakdi, and visited the area to encourage 2 patients with disabilities under social security funds and provided compensation to 2 victims suffering from work hazards.
