On March 25, 2019, at 09.00 hours, Deputy Director of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare and acting Inspector-General for the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Todsaphon Kritwongwiman alongside Inspector-General of the Prime Minister’s Office Region 9 (Mr. Jirayu Nantaratorn) and inspector-generals from other ministries visited Nakhon Nayok to monitor the performance of agencies following the official examination for 2019, for the first round. The inspecting party joined discussions with the Governor of Nakhon Nayok Province and met with the head of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Nakhon Nayok, involved in solving problems and guidelines for development of the province on cultural tourism. The meeting took place at the Khun Dan meeting room, 5th floor, Nakhon Nayok City Hall. The inspectors visited the area to monitor the plan / project In accordance with the plan for an integrated examination at the Dong Lakorn Ancient City (Muang Laplae) and the Thai Phuan community.
At 13.00 hours, Deputy Director of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare and acting Inspector-General for the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Todsaphon Kritwongwiman and the Department of Employment’s Inspector-General, Mrs. Napasorn Tungsuksai met with the Chief of Government under the Ministry of Labour for Nakhon Nayok, to monitor the performance according to the official plan for 2019. This was the 2nd round (progress review) which took place at the Nakhon Nayok Skill Development Office. The visiting party emphasized that all agencies under the Ministry of Labour expedite the implementation of the ministry’s (3A) policy to keep abreast of the action plan and requested cooperation for sharing awareness to employers in the social security system to utilize health examination benefits, promote employment and improve the quality of life for young and elderly workers, and workers with disabilities. He also asked that agencies gather samples of the best practices and key operational results of the Ministry of Labour. Once gathered, the agencies shall share learnings through media and present at the provincial levels meeting. For the provision of public services, they encouraged use technology as much as possible to reduce steps and time, and provide easy access to services.
