Labour Minister Assigns Advisor to Commence Training in Solar Cell Installation and Building Electrical Wiring to Enhance Potentials, Expand Professions and Elevate Income

          On September 22, 2022, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, to preside over the commencement of the training program for developing informal workers’ potential to increase their potential and restore the economic foundation in the solar cell system installer course and the building electrical wiring course. The Phetchaburi Skill Development Office organized the training. Heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Phetchaburi Province participated in the occasion at room SU 504, 5th floor, Niwat Samosorn Building, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, Muang District, Phetchaburi Province.
          Mrs. Thiwalrat said that the Ministry of Labour, under the supervision of the Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, and the Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin, are concerned about informal workers who have been laid off, unemployed, and those affected by the COVID-19 situation. Therefore, there is a policy for agencies under the Ministry of Labour to provide support in recruitment, income generation, and security in life. It aims to protect workplace safety, including career development activities enabling participants to pursue a career suitable for the community’s needs. This allows participants to expand their professions, raise their income, drive their potential, and revitalize the economic foundation.
