Labour Minister Assigns Advisor to Visit Insured Persons with Disabilities in Pak Tho, Ratchaburi

          On September 20, 2022, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, expressed empathy and assigned the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, to visit the area to give gifts to encourage insured person disabilities in Pak Tho District, Ratchaburi Province. In this regard, the Social Security Office’s Secretary-General, Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, assigned the Social Security Office’s Inspector-General, Ms. Wantana Natthapulawat, the Ratchaburi Social Security Officer Ms. Chompoophen Sirithon, head of the Ratchaburi Provincial Social Security Office, Ban Pong branch, Sergeant Phairat Sa-ayawong, and heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Ratchaburi Province also attended the visit.
          The Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, said that the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, cares about the insured persons with disabilities, and is ready to support, monitor, and help recover their body and mind, giving insured persons a better quality of life. Thus, she and her team were assigned to visit Pak Tho District, Ratchaburi Province, to meet with insured persons with disabilities, talk and give consumer items, including various appliances, and create morale and encouragement for the insured persons. Today, she visited two insurers under the care of the Ratchaburi Provincial Social Security Office. The first was Mr. Pongsak Suksamran, 40, insured under Section 33. He has a disability due to a stroke, which weakened his right arm and leg. He is unable to walk and requires a wheelchair. He has been a person with disabilities since September 2, 2016. He receives compensation for lack of income of 5,065.50 Baht per month and 500 Baht per month for transportation. The second person was Mr. Sanguan Junjerm, 74, insured under Section 39. He has a disability due to a stroke. He is bedridden and unable to support himself. He can communicate with words, but not clearly. He has been a person with disabilities since June 29, 2004. He receives compensation for lack of income of 2,400 Baht per month and 500 Baht per month for transportation.

          The Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, continued that the Social Security Office is ready to take care of all insured persons to ensure their stability and quality of life because every insured person is a part of the Social Security family.
