Content Description

On December 3, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong to join in the honour of awarding the rights to the rental housing project for low-income groups for the Suk Pracha Romklao Housing Project. The Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha presided over the awarding ceremony at the Romklao Community Housing Project, Romklao Road, Khlong Song Ton Noon Subdistrict, Lat Krabang District, Bangkok.
The Suk Pracha Romklao Housing Project is a housing project for low-income groups under the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security. The project is by the National Housing Authority, which received an urgent policy from the government to develop housing to meet the goals of the 20-year Housing Development Master Plan (2017-2036) to create housing security for the low-income groups affected by the COVID-19 situation. Therefore, a housing project for low-income groups was developed, starting with the pilot project “Baan Kheha Sukpracha” (Chalong Krung and Rom Klao) to provide assistance and provide housing security for low-income people. The project also aims to build careers and the community under the concept of “having a home, a job and an income for happiness.”
