Rayong, August 28, 2025 — The Ministry of Labour, through the Thailand Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Public Organisation) or TOSH, organised the “Regional Occupational Health and Safety Forum 2025, Rayong Province” at Sunthornphu Hall, Star Convention Hotel, Rayong. The event was officially opened by Mr. Surasit Nitiwuttiworrak, Secretary to the Labour Minister, and attended by Dr. Nuntachai Panyasurarit, Director of TOSH, Mr. Kamthorn Wehon, Deputy Governor of Rayong, senior officials, private sector representatives, entrepreneurs, and many members of the workforce.
Mr. Surasit stated that Rayong is a key industrial hub of Thailand and the heart of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). He emphasised that today’s forum is not only an academic platform but also a space for collective learning across all sectors to foster a sustainable culture of safety. He stressed the need for the Thai workforce to keep pace with changes in the modern world of work shaped by AI and automation, under the concept of “Learn to Earn”, learning that can be directly translated into real income generation.
Dr. Nuntachai Panyasurarit, Director of the Thailand Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, added that this event provides a significant opportunity to exchange safety knowledge from experts through panel discussions and exhibitions. The aim is to enable enterprises and workers to adopt practical applications. “Our goal is to build a workforce that is skilled, modern, and works safely. This will be a driving force for Thailand’s future economy and industry,” he said.
